Garry has been part of two Oscar winning teams and one BAFTA winning team for the films Interstellar and Ex Machina as part of the Special Effects team. 

Collaborating with Christopher Nolan on three different projects, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar and Dunkirk.  Also working on over 70 high end films whilst Supervising the Grading departmentment at DNeg.

More recently Garry has been DIT onset for some of Disney, C4 and Amazon’s biggest TV shows namely Willow, The Wheel of Time and soon to be released Queenie. During this time onset Garry was heavily involved with VP production, combining his VFX and Colour experience to create a unique workflows that are on the leaading edge of VP production.

Due to his indepth knowledge of Onset and all Post-Production workflows for everything relating to Picture, Garry can design bespoke pipelines that maximise the productions budget and keeps picture integrety.

Garry has written and Directed and DoP’d short films, documentaries and music videos.  Having worked with directors Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott, Clint Dyer and Edgar Wright, Garry appreciates this was a unique experience to learn from some of the best. 

Garry keeps his own voice for writing and directing, keen to point out social injustices. Coming from a working class family from Sunderland, Garry was born in Ealing, London and worked his way into the film industry without any prior connections.
